Stride Horse Auction was born out of a passion for Irish sport horses and a desire to make the buying and selling process more accessible, trustworthy, and efficient for Irish breeders, producers, and buyers around the world.

We are a family-run sport horse breeding operation called Boleybawn Horses based in the heart of County Wicklow, in the scenic southeast of Ireland. With decades of experience breeding, rearing, producing, and selling top-quality sport horses, our roots run deep in the Irish equestrian community. Each year, we breed 15–20 foals, focusing on quality, performance, and temperament—traits that define Irish horses on the global stage.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, we embraced innovation and launched an online auction platform to sell our own foals. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with many breeders and producers reaching out to ask if we could represent their horses too. This support and demand led to the creation of Stride Horse Auction—a dedicated, trustworthy online auction platform for carefully bred showjumpers raised in Ireland.
